Starting in the charming town of Preveza, you’ll immediately soak in the relaxed atmosphere of the Ionian coast. From there, we’ll take you to fascinating historical sites like Nikopolis, Delphi, Cassope, and the stone bridge of Arta, where you’ll see the rich history of ancient civilization come to life. On our journey through vibrant Lefkada and the Venetian Nafpaktos, you’ll uncover hidden gems and enjoy the authentic hospitality of Greece. In the mountains of Ano Chora, you’ll experience the tranquility and beauty of traditional villages, while the majestic Mount Parnassus and iconic Athens immerse you in culture and breathtaking landscapes.

Programma Per Day*

Day 1 - Arrival in Preveza »
We start the day with a relaxed coffee in the charming town of Preveza, located on the Ionian Sea along Greece’s west coast. Preveza is not only a gateway to the vast Amvrakikos Gulf but also a popular harbor for sailors due to its unique location.

After morning coffee, we take time to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and unwind after the journey. It’s also a perfect opportunity to get to know each other and soak in the first impressions of this beautiful destination.

In the afternoon, we will take a walk through the city, giving us the chance to experience the vibrant charm of Preveza. We will end the day with a delicious dinner, indulging in the local cuisine, and discuss the plans for the following day.
Day 2 - Excursions to Nikopolis, Cassope, and Arta »
Today’s program includes visits to the impressive Byzantine walls of the Roman city of Nikopolis and the archaeological remains of the ancient Greek city of Cassope. High atop rocky cliffs stands the imposing Dance of Zalongo monument, a tribute to the brave women and children who resisted the Turkish occupation.

In the charming town of Arta, we admire the iconic stone bridge over the Arachthos River, a masterpiece of traditional architecture, and the Byzantine church Panagia Parigoritissa, a spiritual and artistic gem from a bygone era.
Day 3 - Preveza - Lefkada - Messolonghi - Nafpaktos »
We set off early and reach the enchanting island of Lefkada via a long causeway. Also known as Lefkas, this picturesque island, surrounded by shimmering lagoons, charms immediately. The upper floors of the houses, originally made of wood, are now painted in a palette of vibrant colors, giving the island a uniquely photogenic appearance.

Our journey continues south through Messolonghi, famous for its traditional sea salt production. Along the way, we cross the impressive Rio-Antirrio Bridge, a feat of modern architecture connecting the Peloponnese with mainland Greece and enhancing the surrounding landscape.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Nafpaktos, a charming Venetian town rich in history and atmosphere. We explore its cozy streets, immerse ourselves in the culture, and enjoy the relaxed ambiance before settling in for the night.
Day 4 - Nafpaktos - Ano Chora »
After breakfast, we embark on a breathtaking journey through the highlands of Nafpaktos, an unspoiled and sparsely populated region where time seems to move at its own pace. We stop at various points to admire the stunning scenery: majestic mountains, picturesque villages, and sweeping views perfect for photography.

One of the highlights is the mountain village of Ano Chora, also known as the “Upper Village,” located at an altitude of 1,050 meters. This idyllic village, once almost completely isolated during the winter, retains a special charm. We stroll through its quaint streets and visit the folk museum, where the rich heritage and traditions of the region come to life. We will then head back to Nafpaktos, where we will enjoy a second overnight stay.

Following a scenic coastal route, we reach the charming port town of Galaxidi, perched on a small peninsula along the Gulf of Corinth. This authentic town brims with history and atmosphere, and we take a leisurely walk to capture its picturesque harbor, narrow streets, and traditional architecture.

From Galaxidi, we ascend into the mountains to visit the legendary archaeological site of Delphi, once considered the center of the world by the ancient Greeks and renowned for the Oracle of Delphi. We explore this magical place, steeped in history and mysticism.

Our journey continues to Arachova, a stylish mountain village and the bustling hub of the Parnassus ski resort in winter. Here, we stay for two nights, enjoying the lively streets, elegant atmosphere, and stunning mountain scenery.
Day 6 - Ossios Loukas Monastery - Livadia - Around Mount Parnassus »
This day is dedicated to a beautiful journey to the Monastery of Ossios Loukas, founded around 900 AD. During the Byzantine period, our Middle Ages, it grew into a thriving and influential spiritual center. The extensive monastery complex houses several stunning churches and an impressive olive press, offering a glimpse into the agricultural life of that time.

We continue our journey to the city of Livadeia, located at the foot of the mountains that surround this fertile plain. Once, this area was a vast lake, and thanks to the clear water flowing from Livadeia’s many springs, cotton cultivation thrives here. In the heart of this vibrant town, we visit these historical springs, where we can also enjoy a cup of coffee.

Next, we take a scenic drive around the majestic Mount Parnassus, dedicated to the god Apollo and home to the Muses. Our route takes us through the picturesque village of Davlia to the historic Ano Tithorea, where we enjoy a delicious lunch in a charming setting.

We then continue our journey through the delightful village of Polydrossos to Eftalofos, a quaint mountain village where we visit a beautiful waterfall and take a short, refreshing walk in the tranquil natural surroundings.

At the end of this memorable day, we return via the breathtaking mountain roads of Parnassus to Arachova, with the stunning landscapes still fresh in our minds. We then settle back in Arachova for a second evening’s stay.

After an early breakfast, we depart for the vibrant city of Athens. Our day begins with a visit to the majestic Acropolis, where we immerse ourselves in the stories of the ancient temples and enjoy panoramic views over the city. It’s a unique opportunity to experience the rich history of Greece up close.

After this iconic highlight, we explore the surrounding neighborhoods with a leisurely walk. While the charming, tourist-friendly Plaka district remains a favorite, Athens now offers so much more. The revamped city center has become largely car-free, making it ideal for relaxed exploration.

One hidden gem not to be missed is the picturesque Anafiotika neighborhood. Originally built by refugees from the island of Anafi, this quaint area exudes the charm of a Greek island. With its narrow streets and whitewashed houses, it feels like a peaceful escape from the bustle of the city.

For history enthusiasts, the Roman Agora offers a fascinating glimpse into Athens’ glorious past. This site beautifully brings the grandeur of Roman-era Athens to life.

After a delightful lunch, you can choose how to spend your afternoon. Take a walk to Filopappou Hill for spectacular views of the Acropolis and the city, or visit the renowned Acropolis Museum, where masterpieces of ancient Greece are presented in exquisite detail.
